What a fun middle grade read!

I giggled at one point, thinking, "This is like The Swiss Family Robinson meets The Lorax meets Land of the Lost with an intriguing mix of Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz thrown in for good measure! A good time! This is a fairy tale for children preteens mainly about a family who travels to an unusual island. I enjoyed the imagination and creativity of this special place where all animals get along, birds are human-like, and the land is filled with giant flowers and plants. It is all run by a magical computer. A fun read. Having read NO FAIRY TALE, I was curious about one of DL Finn's actual fairy tales.
